Hi! My name is Ana Brezovec and I’m a Lead Brand & Web Designer, owner of Studio Bressi based in Portoroz, Slovenia.

Outside work you will often find me walking along the beach with my pup Elli, drawing & painting or, curled up with my cat and my kindle getting lost inside some romantasy world.

But on a typical workday, I am usually… As a European girlie who mostly works with US clients, my work day normally starts in the afternoon to accommodate our timezone differences. That's when I get cozy at my desk, hop on calls with clients and draft exciting concepts.

My day usually starts with rice milk latte & cuddles with my pets

Most of the time I am working on.. When I'm not doing client work, I'm often busy crafting new website template designs

What are your first memories of the Internet?
Drawing in Paint! My dad still has an illustration of our cat I created on his first computer :)

What is the best part about the process of building websites for you?
I love coming up with elegant & interactive design solutions!

What is your favorite stretch or pastime in between coding?
Definitely having Netflix open on the side haha.

Editorial. Minimalist. Feminine.

Which Standout workshops do you find yourself incorporating most often on your website projects?
That would probably be the typography techniques and vertical line 100%. Fluid Tabs is at the top as well.

What makes your work standout?
My design philosophy embraces a soft and elevated approach, ensuring each creation is both inviting and a vibrant reflection of the brand’s unique personality. I blend aesthetic elegance with a deep understanding of brand identity, allowing me to craft holistic experiences that resonate on an emotional and visual level.

What are the biggest takeaways from the Standout programs?
Standout Squarespace is the backbone of my web design business, but the biggest lesson I learned is how to design Smarter. How to think strategically about design/code implementation to allow our clients an elevated and easy user experience. So that, apart from coding of course - which I had 0 prior knowledge of and is now essential part of my offering.

What is your dream website project?
My dream project would be designing branding & website for a high-end destination wedding planner.
