Hi! My name is Chiara Jansen and I’m a Brand Strategist, WebDesigner + Developer based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Outside work you will often find me navigating the chaos of mom life and trying to sneak in a moment of peace with a book (preferably in a café)

But on a typical workday, I am usually strategizing like a boss, sipping on my third coffee, and infusing creativity into every project for my clients. If it's a good day, there’s also some impromptu dancing between design sessions.

My day usually starts with a whirlwind of breakfast chaos, trying to get the kids ready for school while juggling emails on my phone. Somewhere in there, I manage to chug a lukewarm coffee and mentally prepare for the day ahead.

Most of the time I am working on empowering female entrepreneurs to break through their limitations with stunning brand identities and seamless websites. Basically, I’m turning visions into reality, one pixel at a time.

What are your first memories of the Internet?
AOL chatrooms and that glorious dial-up tone—pure nostalgia.

What is the best part about the process of building websites for you?
Seeing the light in my clients’ eyes when their vision comes to life. It's like digital alchemy—turning raw ideas into a cohesive, beautiful, and functional brand presence. Plus, I live for those "aha" moments when everything clicks perfectly into place.

What is your favorite stretch or pastime in between coding?
Blasting some empowering tunes to keep the vibe high and the inspiration flowing.

How would you describe your Standout Style in 2-3 words? Editorial. Bold. Feminine.

Which Standout workshops do you find yourself incorporating most often on your website projects?
I love the Product Slider Section which is powered by CSS only and the Shop the Look Section. I think both sections work so well with a lot of brands to showcase their products.

What makes your work standout?
My dedication and love for creating not just visually stunning designs, but also strategic and soulful brand experiences. I blend creativity with a deep understanding of my clients’ dreams and goals, ensuring every project is a unique masterpiece tailored to empower and inspire.

What are some of your proudest works you've worked on?
Valery Vain
The website for Valery Vain holds a special place in my heart and it was one of the first sites I build with the Esencia theme. We implemented several wholesale options; potential partners can fill out a custom form, wholesale partners can login and easily (pre)order the products and access products exclusive available for wholesale.

What are the biggest takeaways from the Standout programs?
The amount of knowledge that's shared is insane. The program is already very detailed, but Rache's support goes even further than that. She really goes beyond and beyond and is always willing to help and support <3.

What is your dream website project?
My passion lies in collaborating with those who dare to dream big and make bold moves – the game-changers in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle realms.
