01

Hi! My name is Niah Danks and I’m the Founder of Moze Creative Web Design Studio based in London, UK.

02

Outside work you will often find me running! I love keeping active. But I also LOVE food, so I'm often scoping out new eateries or reading new recipes.

03

But on a typical workday, I am usually listening to My Analog Journal on Youtube (their world music selection is amazing!). I am more productive later in the day, so I tend to start working in the late morning once I have started my day with a long run.

04

My day usually starts with a shower to wake me up.

05

Most of the time I am working on my own website!

Our mission is to be more than just a web design service; we’re striving to be catalysts for growth, providing invaluable support on your upward trajectory. With Moze Creative, you’re not just getting a website; you’re gaining a dedicated partner in your journey towards success.

06

What are your first memories of the Internet?

When my parents first bought home a PC, I remember using it to play games as a child. I was quite fortunate to have a lot of devices in my home growing up, so I am quite tech savvy now thankfully, as the world could not survive without tech these days!

07

What is the best part about the process of building websites for you?

For me, it's the process of looking at a design and translating it into code. Don't get me wrong, coding is very challenging, but this excites me. I find it incredibly rewarding helping my client's achieve their designs in actuality!

08

What is your favorite stretch or pastime in between coding?

Regular breaks to stand up and stretch, and always good music on in the background!

09

How would you describe your Standout Style in 2-3 words? Contemporary. Impactful. Laid-back. Modern. Bold

10

Which Standout workshops do you find yourself incorporating most often on your website projects?

Definitely Stick Sections & Slide Out Menu.

11

What makes your work standout?

I like to think I have a strong self of personal style and identity, so when I see another person/marketing campaign/brand/style that I resonate with, it excites me and I'm immediately on board with it! I try to take this into my work. In addition to the functionality, I always consider the brand aeshetic and target audience, carefully weaving this into the user experience I create on each website.

Secondly, a personal 'bug bear' of mine is a sub-standard user experience. Clicking a button that doesn't go anywhere or unclear instructions on how to complete an action on a website is very frustrating! So I ensure my sites are clear, easy to navigate and leave the user feeling good!

12

What are some of your proudest works you've worked on?

Moze Creative Website →My current site is my second version so I have learned a LOT. Not only have a learned and improved in my coding ability, but I have learned the importance of keeping things simple. My current website loads faster and was created far more efficiently, which I am super proud of.

13

What are the biggest takeaways from the Standout programs?

The Standout programme is incredibly valuable to me as a web designer. The course reinforced the importance of continually learning, not shying away from making mistakes and showing the right attitude to learning!

14

What is your dream website project?

I have two (typical me)!

I would just LOVE to work with a music or record label to create a website for their events, products, a directory of their musicians. Something like that, as...I love music so much!

Secondly, it would have to be related to food. I'd love to create a website for a high-end, Michelin start restaurant, incorporating a reservations system and a menu feature with lots of quality imagery, and perhaps a 'Meet the Team' feature to help you get to know the staff.
