Hi! My name is Taylor Leigh and I’m a Squarespace Web Designer based in Los Angeles, CA.

Outside work you will often find me hiking in Griffith Park, taking a Pilates class, or reading (I have quite the collection at this point!).

But on a typical workday, I am usually answering emails with a matcha in hand and creating beautiful websites.

My day usually starts with matcha and a meditation (if I'm lucky).

Most of the time I am working on clean and minimal Squarespace websites.

What are your first memories of the Internet?
using Myspace and Tumblr in the early 2000s.

What is the best part about the process of building websites for you?
I love getting into that flow state where the creativity seems to pour out naturally and I feel really connected to the project and process.

What is your favorite stretch or pastime in between coding?
Taking a break to put on some music or a walk around my neighborhood.

How would you describe your Standout Style in 2-3 words? Minimalist. Feminine.

Which Standout workshops do you find yourself incorporating most often on your website projects?
The mega-menu workshop is one I use frequently to take my client's websites to the next level!

What makes your work standout?
I believe that less is more. A minimal website can feel like a breath of fresh air. I often find myself working with interior designers or other clients who have beautiful photography, and I love giving them a clean, modern website that will perfectly complement their imagery.

What are the biggest takeaways from the Standout programs?
It's much easier than I used to think to take your Squarespace websites to the next level with some coding (and less daunting than I used to believe as well!). A little coding is really all you need to transform a Squarespace site from looking like a drag-and-drop template into a beautiful custom site.

What is your dream website project?
A super chic and minimal website for one of the top interior designers, such as Kelly Wearstler.
