Hi! My name is Maria Krause and I’m a Web Designer and Developer based in Berlin, Germany.

Outside work you will often find me on the beach, eating fruits and having an Aperol Spritz. (VIEW)

But on a typical workday, I am usually sitting on the sofa with my laptop, working on new websites or coding something, listening to loud music, and forgetting everything around me.

My day usually starts with taking my daughter to kindergarten and then attend a Pilates class at home.

Most of the time I am working on a new design, refining a design, or learning a cool new design trick.

What is the best part about the process of building websites for you?
The best part of building websites for me is coding, trying out new things, creating mock-ups, and feeling satisfied when I successfully develop them as envisioned during the creation phase.

What is your favorite stretch or pastime in between coding?
Fresh air, coffee or tea and walking with the dog and my daughter.

I prioritize the user experience, creating intuitive interfaces and seamless interactions that enhance usability. I ensure that the websites I build are responsive and look great on all devices, which is crucial in today's mobile-centric world. I also make a point to cater to the specific wishes of my clients, ensuring that each website is as unique as its owner.

What are some of your proudest works you've worked on?
AMICI CUCINA E VINO
Understanding how to combine old and new technology and knowledge to achieve the best result, leveraging abundant knowledge but limited time, and making it exceptionally valuable for the industry. The exceptional aspect of this project is that this website stands out from others in the industry by focusing on the essentials: the founder and the restaurant's food.

First: Designing and developing websites for restaurants allows each establishment to showcase its unique identity and offerings. From high-end Michelin-starred venues to cozy local bistros, the goal is to capture the essence of the dining experience through thoughtful design elements. Incorporating features like intuitive reservation systems, visually enticing menu displays with quality imagery, and personalized sections like 'Meet the Team' can enrich the website's appeal. By tailoring these elements to reflect the restaurant's atmosphere and culinary philosophy, every website can stand out as a distinct digital representation of its brand.
Second: Designing and developing websites for Airbnb and smaller travel companies is essential for showcasing their unique offerings and maintaining their individuality.
